Lower Middle Fork Campsite

Our last camp of the trip (three exposures merged using Enfuse, a free HDR tool).  The Middle Fork is very popular, and most of the campsites are booked every night.  It was our luck that we were assigned one 23 miles from our 11:00 AM take-out the next morning.  We were up and on the river early the next morning and had a very chilly run through the Impassible Canyon (love that name – it refers to there being no way through on foot).  We kept urging the sun to come down the canyon walls and warm us up, but it was a long, cold, wet time before it finally did so.  But the night before was warm and peaceful.
