With Apologies to the Miller Family

I hope this image isn’t too irreverent, but this row of cylindrical grave markers was so odd looking that it was hard to resist making an odd image of them. I didn’t originally intend them to look so much like logs heading off to the sawmill in the background (actually a mausoleum), or, worse, sausages emerging from a factory but, hey, once you see it, you see it.

There are nine of them.  I wonder if any of the younger Millers had qualms about following the family tradition.

  1. My first thought was “Tootsie Rolls,” I guess you know where my head is at! Those are pretty odd markers…

    • They do look a bit like Tootsie Rolls, don’t they? Especially with the leftmost one having that partly finished end – even more suggestive of being chopped off after having been extruded. (Hope no living Millers run across this blog.)
