Yet More Wildness
I think of this image as being a companion to this one, and in fact I made them nearby on the same afternoon last winter. This area, on the shore of Lake Washington, is currently knee-deep in water, as it is every summer when they raise the lake level at the Ballard Locks.
The images are both mostly about the lines and textures, so it’s tempting to think that they should instead be black-and-white. I’ve tried that, and I feel they lose something without the greens.
