Crescent Moon Sunset

20130113-IMG_6207

This one’s hot off the sensor, from this very evening. We’re having a cold snap in Seattle, sunny and 30’s in the day, mid-20’s at night. (I’m sure all you mid-westerners are rolling your eyes, but that’s cold for us.) I was out photographing an iced-over swampy area and saw this scene as I was walking back to the car. Has it been done before? Only a zillion times. But it’s still pretty nice. (This is in the Union Bay Natural Area, previously known as the Montlake Fill, an ex-landfill on the Lake Washington edge of the University of Washington.)

Where are the frost pictures? I expect some frost pictures!

Nice composition. I like the red to blue gradient.

    • Sorry, no frost pictures. I just wasn’t feeling it for the frost.
