Powerlines and Subalpine Fir

Just back from an enjoyable day photographing the transmission lines that cross Stevens Pass in Washington’s Cascade Mountains. It was mostly sunny and even tending toward uncomfortably warm, at least for a wimpy Seattlite like me, when hauling camera gear up steep logging roads. But then, surprisingly quickly, the low clouds rolled in and everything changed.
